Privacy Policy

AGI Dreams — Effective February 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how AGI Dreams (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the AGI Dreams mobile application (“App”) and the companion website at agidreams.us.

We built AGI Dreams to be respectful of your privacy. The App contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party tracking. We collect the minimum information needed to deliver the service.

1. Information We Collect

Audio Microphone Audio

When you use the voice chat feature to speak with Mona, our AI assistant, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to our server via Daily.co WebRTC for speech-to-text processing. Audio is processed in memory and is not permanently stored. You can use the App without ever enabling the microphone.

Text Voice Chat Transcripts

Transcriptions of your voice conversations (both your messages and Mona’s responses) are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. These transcripts enable on-device semantic search of your past conversations. Transcripts are not transmitted to third parties.

Token Push Notification Tokens

If you enable notifications, an Expo push token is registered with our server to deliver alerts about new daily editions. Tokens are stored server-side and used solely for sending content notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

ID Device Identifier

A unique, randomly generated device identifier is created on first launch and stored securely in the iOS Keychain via expo-secure-store. This identifier is sent to our server as an HTTP header to register your device. It is not your Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) and is not shared with third parties.

Cache Local Cache

Edition content, audio files, playback state, bookmarks, theme preference, and playback speed settings are cached locally on your device for offline access. You control the cache size (25–150 MB) and can clear it at any time in the App’s Settings screen. This data never leaves your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

AGI Dreams does not collect or use any of the following:

Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or tracking identifiers
Analytics or tracking SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.)
Location data (GPS, Wi-Fi, or cell tower)
Contacts, photos, or camera data
Face ID or biometric data
Browsing history or cookies (the in-app WebView is used only to display agidreams.us content)
Data from third-party ad networks

3. How We Use Your Information

Microphone audio — processed server-side for speech-to-text during active voice sessions only
Push tokens — to deliver new-edition notifications you have opted in to
Device identifier — to associate your device with server-side preferences and enable the voice chat service

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or behavioral targeting.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes.

The App uses the following third-party services strictly for functional purposes:

Daily.co — WebRTC transport for real-time voice audio (audio is streamed peer-to-peer through Daily’s infrastructure during active voice sessions)
Expo Push Notification Service — delivers push notifications to your device when you have opted in

These services process data only as necessary to provide their respective functions and are subject to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

Microphone audio — not stored; processed in real time and discarded after transcription
Voice transcripts — stored locally on your device until you clear the cache or delete the App
Push tokens — retained server-side until you uninstall the App or revoke notification permissions
Device identifier — retained server-side for the lifetime of the device registration; deleted upon request
Local cache — stored on your device; cleared when you use the in-app cache management or delete the App

6. Data Security

All communication between the App and our server is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). The App enforces App Transport Security with no exceptions for arbitrary network loads. Your device identifier is stored in the iOS Keychain, which is hardware-encrypted. The App does not use custom encryption beyond standard platform and transport-layer protections.

7. CarPlay

AGI Dreams supports CarPlay audio for hands-free listening of daily edition podcasts. CarPlay integration uses the same audio data cached locally on your device and does not collect any additional information.

8. Children’s Privacy

AGI Dreams is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will promptly delete it.

9. Your Rights

You may:

Delete local data at any time by clearing the App cache in Settings or by uninstalling the App
Disable push notifications through iOS Settings
Revoke microphone access through iOS Settings at any time
Request deletion of your server-side device registration by contacting us

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
